Senior Android Developer
Job Description
UHIVE is a UK based company with an office in Jordan and looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits, and will work with our team in Jordan, that gathers talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications
Skills
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Skills
- Experience of 5+ years
- Proven experience developing mobile applications for Android
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the mobile development landscape especially Android
- Good knowledge in MVVM Architecture
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Knowledge about Android applications performance optimization and memory management
- Solid understanding of Java basics and object-oriented programming
- Experience on multithreading and asynchronous programming model
- Knowledge in Kotlin is a plus
- Excellent English skills
